I had given up hope of being able to have a homebirth, but just tonight I met with a midwife (who I found out actually lives on my road!) and I am very excited about her delivering our baby here! I loved your story. Thanks again for the encouragement!Kendra at New Life On A Homesteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17852423537026709246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7660380153635526566.post-81491590959594700952009-04-30T10:21:00.000-06:002009-04-30T10:21:00.000-06:00OMG - those pics brought a tear to my eye! I just had my first baby - 19.5 hour labour, very exhausting, but my little man came in weighing a healthy 7.7lbs. It was a nightmare delivery (tore both ways!) to be honest, maybe thats because he's my first! I had an epidural after 15 hours but his head wouldn't move down so they had to assist. I was pretty worried that he wouldn't latch on because of the epidural, but he seems to be feeding fine and I am a very proud and happy mother of Marlow. You should hare your story with all the other mummies at http://my.bounty.com/forums/ I know they would love it! xxxUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16148978837637070262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7660380153635526566.post-80428910189132127672009-04-24T16:50:00.000-06:002009-04-24T16:50:00.000-06:00Oh, Joy, what a baeutiful account of the enduring ...Oh, Joy, what a baeutiful account of the enduring love that happens at childbirth.
