Mike's loss

Mike's dad Steve was killed in a car accident yesterday morning while driving for work. Mike, Selah, and I flew from Denver to Cedar Rapids last night and are spending the next 10 days with his mom and family in Iowa. This has been a very difficult 36 hours for Mike and for everyone else involved. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for the funeral and for Margie's future without her soulmate.

My heart is heavy for you and Mike's family. Please give them my love and regards - the suddenness takes my breath away, which I know is but a fraction of what you are all experiencing.

May the Schneiters know the peace that passes understanding, and may God hold you all in the palm of his hand.

Joy - This is Marcia, Lane's mom-in-law...I have been following your blog by linking thru Burch Perch. I am so so sorry for yours and Mike's loss and I am especially sad for little Selah who will not get a chance to know her grandpapa's love.

Mike and Joy,
Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh...may the Lord bring you peace in this hour of sadness. Your sadness will be turned to joy because Jesus has overcome death! We will be with our loved ones again in the resurrection! I am truly counting on that! Love to you all!
