Selah loves sleeping on my chest. She'll scootch herself up super tight and close with my neck and chin, to the point that sometimes I almost get my breathing cut off. If I try to move her down a little, she'll scootch herself back up, sometimes rather forcefully if she can push off my arms wih her legs. I love these times with my little girl.

Congratulations Mike & Joy!! Selah is absolutely beautiful!! - and love that hair!! Thank you for posting the pics. and info. - they are awesome. Joy - you deserve and medal (sorry Mikey) but sounds like Mike is going to be the best dad ever! Enjoy these special moments. Loves, Aunt Patty
Mike, would you say that being a father supersedes climbing? :)
Of course, but I'm still going to be a climber and I'm really excited to take her climbing with me. Today Selah and I hiked down to the river and watched a flock of blue birds flying around. And, we're planning our first hikes in Glenwood Canyons and maybe a little climbing outing for this week.
I cannot WAIT to hold her!
Dear Mike and Joy, I'm so thrilled to hear about the safe arrival of Selah Claire!! I rejoice with you and can't wait to meet her and see the new "parents". I'm praying for you on this new incredible journey! There's nothing else like it on this earth! love you, Cathy
